Technology Data

Design Voltage: Design voltage shows the voltage at which a lamp is operated for current, brightness and life hours required.

Design Amperage: The value shown in the catalogue is value of current flowing through a lamp when operated at its design voltage.

M.S.C.P: MSCP is mean spherical candle power which is the average of the total output of the lamp as measured in a photometric reflectance sphere of design voltage. Small lamps are aged and selected to +-25% or +-15%.

Life Hours: Average life hours obtained at static laboratory conditions when the lamp is operated at design voltage. Actual life may differ from laboratory life due to the effects of shock vibration, voltage, and environmental conditions encountered in lamp applications. M.O.D. Maximum overall lenght is the largest total diameter of glass envelope, base or lead wires.

M.O.L: Maximum overall lenght is the largest total lenght which the lamp or base and lamp will not exceed. Lead wires Unbased lamp leads are dument wire, leads are available with unplated, tin, or gold plated for solderability.

Filament Shapes: The filament is the light emitting portion of lamp. Prefix letter indicates: (S)  Straight, (C) coiled or (CC) coiled coil. A number designates the geometric style of filament support wires.
